Malin Head The lookout post no.80 is situated on the northernmost point of Ireland close to a Napoleonic signal tower. From here the coast watcher observed the Atlantic shore. Their logbooks can be seen on the website militaryarchives.ie. Next to the post an Eire sign written in white stones can be found in the ground that was helpful for the navigation of the allied aircrafts during the ww2. The light projection at this lookout post based on the Irish banner that was transformed in a 3D pattern. Finally the pattern was adapted to the building structure during the twilight.
