Arranmore Point The lookout post No. 75 was located on the north coast of Aran Island. Today, only the concrete foundation of the former lookout post No. 75 remain. It is located behind a turf field close to the edge of the cliffs. From here, the coast watchers had a wide view over the Atlantic Ocean. During their observations, they wrote reports on military activities at sea and in the air in their logbooks. These logbooks are now publicly available on the Irish Armed Forces website militaryarchives.ie. The associated Eire sign is to be located 150 metres to the west.
