Dunmore Head The lookout post no.73 can be found on a hilltop westerly of Portnoo. From here the cost watcher observed the Atlantic shore from the Dawros Bay up to the Gweebarra Bay and reported all activities around that area in their logbooks. The reports are open for public today at the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie. To visit the lookout post cattle fields must be crossed like at many other places around the shore. For this light projection some cattle were photographed and arranged with silhouettes on a rusty background. In addition the broken edge of the roof and the window were softly highlighted with the projection light.
