Dunmore Head The lookout post No. 73 is located on a hill west of Portnoo. From here, coast watchers observed the Atlantic coast from Dawros Bay to Gweebarra Bay and recorded all military activity in the area in their logbooks. The reports are now publicly available on the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie.
To visit this lookout post, it was necessary to cross a cattle pasture. For this light projection, several cows were photographed and arranged as silhouettes against a rusty background.
