Carrigan Head The lookout post No. 71 is located next to a Napoleonic signal tower to the left of the road leading to the Slive League viewpoint. Today, the building has collapsed. Close to the road, the Eire 71 sign has recently been restored. From here, the coast watchers reported all military activities and recorded them in their logbooks.
