St.Johns Point At the end of the road leading to St. John's Point, lookout post No. 70 is located on a hill close to the lighthouse. In front of the lighthouse, the associated Eire sign has recently been restored.
From this location, the coast guards observed the northern part of Donegal Bay. They sometimes used monocular telescopes to watch for military activity in the air and at sea. This type of telescope was the inspiration for this light projection. A pattern of abstract convex lens shapes with an eye in a neutral blue colour was projected onto the building.
