All that remains of the lookout post No. 7 is the concrete foundation on a rocky hill in Sorrento Park. Today, there is a bench for visitors on the foundation. From here, the coast guards observed Dublin Bay, Scotsman's Bay and Killiney Bay to the south. Their reports are now publicly available and can be viewed on the website militaryarchives.ie .The view of the surroundings of Sorrento House and Dalkey Island with Montello Tower remains almost unchanged. Near Sorrento Park on Hawk Cliff, a huge Eire sign was rediscovered and restored in 2019.
