LOP 64 Downpatrick Head

Downpatrick The lookout post no.64 is situated close the edge of the cliffs in front of the 50m high Dún Briste sea stack. During the visit the concrete shell of the Lookout was in good condition. A good preserved Eire landmark was also found in 50m distance at the other side of the cliff. Today the Lookout Post is new restored with windows and door as well the Eire sign. For this light work the illustrations from Alphonse Mucha was adapted to the building. The result shows the colorfully Art Nouveau paintings at the lookout bounded in the dramatic landscape scenery during the twilight.
