Corraun The lookout post no.58 is situated on a headland easterly from Corraun. From here the coast watcher of the 2ww coast watching service had a view over the Clew bay up to the east coast of Clare island. They reported all activities around that area in logbooks which are today open for public at the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie. An Eire landmark can be found in 150m distance beside of the post. For this light projection the building was handmade rebuild with a Ministeck mosaic and then adapted to the facade. The selected view angle gave that lookout the character of a simple cubistic building.
