Leck Head The lookout post no.43 is situated northward of Ballybunnion behind a Farm at Bromore West. At the visit during this project in 2011 the lookout post lay collapsed on the ground. The concrete blocks looked complete and the structural construction form was identifiable. Today the Lookout is detailed reconstructed and the place is open for visitors. From this point the coast watches observed the shore to occupy that no soldiers entered the republic Ireland during the emergency. They wrote daily reports in their logbooks that are open for today for public at the Irish Defence Foreces website militaryarchives.ie.
