Fenit Today, only a commemorative plaque remains to mark Lookout Post No. 41. The building was located on a small hill at Fenit Harbour. The former post was built in 1940 with two sides of windows to observe the Fenit harbour area.
After the Second World War, the building was used for maritime radio communications before being finally removed in 2005. Today, a monument to Saint Brendan stands on this site.
