Parkmore In short distance of three miles to the Eask Head lookout the lookout post no.37 was situated on the Parkmore headland. From here it was possible to observe also the Ventry Bay. Today only some concrete fragments found in the field remain to the former building. The field is situated on private land and needs for entering the permission of the owners. From here the coast watcher of the 2ww coast watching service reported all activities around that area in their logbooks. Today the logbooks are open for public at the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie.
