Seven Heads The lookout Post No. 26 is located on the west coast of Cork on the Seven Heads peninsula. The name derives from the seven fingers of the peninsula that extend into the sea. The lookout post was built in front of an English post from the First World War. A 19th-century signal tower indicates that this area was a popular spot for coastal observation. In addition to the light projection on the viewpoint, the interior of the English post was also illuminated. Silhouettes of aeroplanes and flight paths obscure the lookout post in this light projection. The high-contrast image also enhanced the perception of the black colouring of some parts of the building.
