LOP 10 Kilmichael Point

Kilmichael Point Next to the old Kilmichael coastguard station in the lookout post no.10 is embedded in between strand dunes. The building can be found on the north part of the Kilpatrick Beach. From here the coast watcher observed the shore of the Irish sea during the emergency. Their logbooks are open for public today and can be seen on the website www.militaryarchives.ie.The light projection at this lookout post based on a two shilling Irish silver Flóirin from 1940. During the implementation of this project the outside walls was clear. Today the walls are covered with scribblings and graffiti.
