Lookout No. 68 was built on a hill near Ballineden to observe the northern part of Sligo Bay. Today, the post has collapsed and the individual blocks lie on the ground like a concrete skeleton. The corresponding Eire sign is covered by grass 200 metres west of the lookout post. The frame and the letter E are still barely visible. Further elements of the ground markings can be seen from the air.
