Aughris Head
Lookout post No. 67 was used to observe the western part of Sligo Bay and was built on the Aughris Head headland. Today, the restored building can be reached via the newly constructed Aughris Cliff Walk. There are plans to establish a small museum in the building. The corresponding Eire sign is located 200 metres west on farmland. The contours of individual letters are easily recognisable from the air.
A simulated image makes the position of the ground markings easier to identify.
