Erris Head
The lookout post No. 62 is located on the northernmost point of Belmullet Island. Follow the Erris Head Loop Walk from Glenlara for a mile you will find the lookout post on a small hilltop. Individual concrete elements have been blown away by storms several meters from the building in the past. In short distance from the building to the west the well preserved EIRE sign is situated near to the cliffs.
