The lookout post No.6 was located on the lawn at the Summit car park near Howth. Today there is nothing left of the lookout post. Locals recalled that the post's function was most recently a kiosk in the car park. Half a mile to the northeast on the Cliff walk is a recently restored EIRE sign.
At the former site of the Lookout Post above the lawn near the Summit car park, the concrete remains lie a few centimetres below the lawn. Over time, more concrete remains appeared under the embankment to the side of the lawn.
