Rossroe Head
Lookout post no. 56 is located close to Killary Harbour on the Rossroe Peninsula. Today, the building is surrounded by a stone wall and houses a small transmission mast. The peninsula lies between Killary Fjord and Kirrary Bay. The position was chosen to observe the Fjord, which extends several kilometres inland. The associated EIRE sign was also located on the peninsula, but its location can no longer be determined today.
