LOP 50 Kilronan

Kilronan

At the highest point of Inishmore Island is the Eochaill Lighthouse, which served as lookout post No. 50 during the Second World War. The name Kilronan comes from the name of the main settlement on the island of Inishmore. Two hundred metres south of the tower, the Eire sign is clearly visible and has been restored.
