Spiddal
Only the concrete foundation on a small hill near Cnoc An Glas in Spiddal reminds of lookout post No. 49. Today, houses and trees partially obscure the view of the sea.
(NEW Sept. 2023) The associated EIRE sign was located 1.7 miles west of the coast near Iverin Cemetery. Today, remnants of the frame and a few fragments of the letters can still be seen in the field next to the cemetery.
