Loop Head
The lookout post No. 45 is located in front of the lighthouse on the headland of Loop Head. Today the building has completely collapsed. The historic aerial photograph shows the building in operation. Near the lookout post, the Eire sign made of white stones has recently been lovingly restored by locals. On a clear day it is possible to see from here to Brandon Point, where lookout post no. 40 is located.
