Kerry Head
The lookout post No. 42 was located on the headland near Tiduff Glenderry. The building was located in a field close to a stone wall. Today, nothing remains of the lookout except some concrete fragments that were built into the stone wall. Part of the roof structure has been incorporated into a staircase to a residential building. Thanks to the information provided by a local farmer, the exact location of the building and the EIRE sign can be identified. The sign was located in the field close behind the lookout post. Today nothing remains but the position can be identified by means of aerial photographs.
