Hook Head
The lookout post no.16 was located near the Hook Head lighthouse. Today, only the outlines of the concrete foundations on the south side of the area are visible on a concrete platform.
The associated EIRE sign was also located near the lookout post, 50 metres away. Today there is a car park here, but individual letters can still be seen under the grass. An historical aerial photograph shows the position and the lookout post. Based on the photograph, the positions in the present surroundings could be simulated.
